The four above are the directors recorded in the certificate of registered matters; two of them, Koga and Yamaguchi, are representative directors. They are also the directors and representative directors at establishment under article 26 of the articles, and the founding members under article 27. Anshar Safri, founder of PT Indonesia Japan Healthcare, is not an officer of this association; he is expected to join the board once he is resident in Japan. A director's term runs to the close of the annual general meeting for the last financial year ending within two years of appointment (article 20).
What the association does
The association's object is to carry out activities for the spread and advancement of healthcare at home and abroad, and to contribute to public health and to medical, long-term care and welfare services in the community. To that end it undertakes the following (article 3).
- (1) Healthcare awareness work for companies, corporations and other organisations
- (2) Training and education of medical, care and welfare personnel, and the issuing of licences
- (3) Planning, organising and running lectures, training courses, seminars and workshops
- (4) Business consulting and administrative agency services for companies and organisations
- (5) Information and support for users of medical, care and welfare services
- (6) Information and support for foreign students and workers, and for companies receiving foreign personnel
- (7) Translation and interpreting
- (8) Support for the intake of Specified Skilled Workers, and operation of a registered support organisation
- (9) Travel services, and guiding, assistance and accompaniment for travellers, business visitors and patients
- (10) Fee-charging employment placement
- (11) Sale, import and export of medical and care equipment and supplies, and agency and brokerage for the same
- (12) Any business incidental or related to the above

Relationship with PT Indonesia Japan Healthcare
PT Indonesia Japan Healthcare (IJH), an Indonesian company of the PT PMA type, is this association's sister organisation. IJH was founded by five people; this association was established by the four of them resident in Japan. It holds no shares in IJH.
